Allstates offers the Glasspacker system of machines
to turn a minimal amount of floor space into a streamlined factory for
the production of glasspack mufflers. the durable, easy to operate
machines produce two core styles with different noise levels. this
technique, combined with different muffler lengths from 12 inches to
40 inches, lets you tailor noise levels to various requirements.
Volume production-up to 800 mufflers in an 8-hour work day-assures you
of high profitability.
All GlassPacker machines are manufactured to the highest standards to give years of trouble-free service. Each machine has been thoroughly tested and proven in use. |

MODEL 4000A
CORE EXPANDER flares the ends of tubing which will form the muffler core. A slip-joint between core and case allows for differential expansion which results in longer muffler life. |

MODEL 3000A
TWIN-HEAD EXPANDER is used to make the special slip-joint connector and a variety of connectors, including male ball joints. This allows the making of mufflers in large quantities with separate connectors to adapt the mufflers to specific automobiles. |

MODEL ANC-A
CORING MACHINE is the heart of the GLASSPACKER System. Cores are punched in either of two ways, producing mufflers with very different noise levels. Core configuration and noise level vary with blade configuration used. |

MODEL 6000A
DOMING MACHINE swages ends of case after core has been wrapped in fiberglass and inserted into case. Machine will dome one muffler every three seconds. all that remains is simple welding. |

CORE PATTERNS PRODUCED WITH THE ANC-A
HYDRAULIC/PNEUMATIC CORE MACHINE
The ANC-A produces a variety of glasspack core elements by piercing many different core patterns into 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", and 2 1/4" diameter, 18 gauge tubing. By combining spiral or straight louver cores with four or six equally spaced louvers @ 1/4 or 1/2 inch pitch per index, twelve different patterns can be accomplished, to produce varying sound levels from the glasspack. The tubing is automatically pierced, fed and rotated, using air logic, with the piercing action accomplished hydraulically by a three-phase, 230 volt, 15 horsepower motor, 10 GPM pump power unit. Tooling for different tube diameters, wall thickness, or custom core patterns may also be made upon request. |
